HTC Desire

The HTC desire phone is equipped with 1.4 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The processor is efficient and ensures smooth flow of tasks. It has the (AMD Z430) Adreno 200 GPU which gives high quality graphics for e-gaming and similar tasks. The phone has 8GB internal memory and 1GB RAM.

The memory can be expanded up to 64GB with the micro SD card, so you can view photos videos and other content stored on your SD card with your HTC Desire phone.

The HTC Desire is powered with Android technology. When it was released on 2010, it had the Android 2.1 éclair OS. The built in features of the phone are HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Sense.

Pros

With the HTC BlinkFeed you can stay updated with what you like. Just one swipe and your latest Facebook posts, twitter updates, news and scores would appear on your screen.HTC sense incorporated additional features in the phone including alerted key board and home screen, redesigned apps, additional widgets etc. The HTC phone has audio and video recording and playback features with supported formats .aac, .m4a, .amr, .ogg, .mp3, .mid, .wma, .wav, .amr, .3gp, .mp4, .3g2 and .mp4.

The HTC Desire has a 2100mAh Li-polymer rechargeable battery with 12.8 hours talk time. It is also equipped with Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer and proximity sensor. Many additional ports are also provided with the phone. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Bluetooth and 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi technology.

The phone is equipped with sound enhancement features such as HTC BoomSound, Sense voice and Dual frontal speakers with amplifiers.

Cons

The HTC Desire display has a lower resolution. The camera is ordinary and the phone has a plastic casing that is not very durable. The phone can get slow while browsing. The screen light is dim and the screen is sensitive and can get scratched so a screen protector should be used. The phone does not have a front facing camera and native storage is low. It cannot record high definition videos and the user interface HTC Sense can get frustrating at times. The physical buttons are not good.
